Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 October 2026

This policy explains how the PraisePoint team handles information when you use praisepoint.app, the PraisePoint web app, and the PraisePoint Windows desktop app. For privacy questions or requests, contact contact@praisepoint.app.

Information we handle

  • Accounts and access: your name or display name, email address, password verification data, account identifier, sign-in sessions, device identifiers, and account or subscription settings.
  • Your content: presentations, songs and lyrics, Bible references, templates, dynamic values, uploaded images, video and audio, and associated names, file sizes, timestamps and sharing settings. Content you choose to upload or sync is sent to our services.
  • AI requests: prompts, conversation context, presentation content, and attachments or extracted text you submit to AI tools, together with generated responses and usage information.
  • Billing: your plan, subscription and transaction identifiers, payment status, billing dates, and information returned by the payment provider.
  • Account onboarding: your intended use, current presentation tools, preparation difficulties, preferred platform and how you found PraisePoint, plus any optional details you enter. Answers are linked to your account and visible to authorized administrators to improve the product and onboarding guides. New users and existing users who have not completed onboarding must answer the five setup questions. Additional text for an “Other” answer is optional. Eligible new accounts may receive a Premium trial; its duration is shown during setup. No payment method or billing address is required for this trial, and it does not automatically become a paid subscription. Existing users completing onboarding do not receive a new trial or a change to their current plan or trial dates.
  • Service operation: request and error information, IP addresses and other connection information handled by our hosting providers, authenticated activity timestamps, storage usage and feature usage counts.
  • Messages and early access: details you provide when joining our waitlist or contacting us, including your name, email address and the contents of your message. Support reports and email conversations are stored with their status, assignment and staff action history so authorized administrators can investigate and respond. Report notifications go to support@praisepoint.app with the reporter in CC; staff replies go to the reporter with support in CC. Optional app context is included only when you choose to share it.

How we use information

We use this information to create and secure accounts; save, sync, share and present your work; provide media storage and AI tools; process subscriptions and enforce plan limits; send account, password-reset and service messages; respond to support requests; and investigate errors, abuse and security incidents.

Your presentations and uploads may contain personal information about other people, including information that reveals religious beliefs. Choose what you upload, share or submit to AI carefully, and make sure you have permission to use other people's information.

Cloud services and other providers

Information is processed by providers needed to deliver the features you use. These include:

  • Cloudflare and Google Cloud/Firebase: application hosting, network delivery, databases, file storage and related infrastructure.
  • PayPal or PayMongo: checkout and subscription processing, depending on the payment option offered. Payment credentials entered into their checkout are handled by the payment provider; PraisePoint receives subscription and payment records.
  • Resend: delivery of account and transactional emails and processing of incoming support replies, including the recipient address and message contents needed to send the email.
  • AI providers, including DeepSeek or OpenAI: processing of the prompt and relevant context or attachments sent when you use AI features. The provider depends on the service configuration. These requests leave your device and are subject to the provider's processing and retention practices.
  • External content providers: image search and Bible content services receive requests needed to retrieve the content you ask for. Loading external media can also disclose connection information to its host.

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information when needed to comply with legal obligations, address abuse or security threats, or protect users and the service. Providers may process information in countries other than your own, with different data-protection laws.

Sharing, published media and support access

People you invite can access a project according to its sharing permissions. If you enable general link access, people with the link may be able to view or edit it. Community content is available to other users. Recipients can retain copies, screenshots or exports even after you change access.

Uploaded media can be delivered through public file URLs. Anyone who obtains such a URL may be able to retrieve the file, even if the surrounding project is restricted. Do not use PraisePoint media storage for confidential files.

Authorized administrators can review account details and server-saved projects for support, compliance and abuse investigations. Your cloud content is not protected by end-to-end encryption that prevents this access.

Local storage and offline use

The web and desktop apps store information locally to maintain your session, remember settings, recover edits, queue changes for sync, and make downloaded projects and media available offline. This can include presentation content and media files. Local recovery saves do not by themselves send an update to the server; cloud sync does.

Offline plan verification may store an encrypted, signed entitlement tied to your account, session and device, valid for up to 10 days before online renewal is needed. This protection applies to the entitlement cache; it does not mean all downloaded presentations and media are encrypted. Protect access to your device, especially on shared computers. Signing out or uninstalling may leave downloaded files or exports on disk.

You can remove browser site data using your browser settings and manage desktop downloads or exports on your computer. Removing local data can discard unsynced work and does not delete server-held information.

Retention and deletion

We retain account and cloud content while needed to provide the service. Retention also depends on whether content is deleted or shared, whether a support or security issue remains open, and whether billing, fraud-prevention or legal records must be retained. Deleted information may remain in backups, operational records or recipients' copies for a period after removal from the active service. Provider-held records follow the provider's own retention requirements. We do not promise immediate deletion of every copy.

You can edit or delete content using the available app controls. To request access to or correction of your personal information, account deletion, or deletion of information you cannot remove yourself, email contact@praisepoint.app from your account email where possible. We may ask for information to verify ownership before acting. Tell us which account and information your request concerns; do not send your password or payment credentials. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, request portability, or complain to your local data-protection authority.

Security

We use access controls, authenticated sessions and protected connections to help safeguard information. No storage or transmission system is completely secure. Contact us if you believe your account or information has been accessed without permission.

Advertising and changes

Advertising is planned for the Free plan. Before introducing advertising or tracking that changes how personal information is used or shared, we will update this policy and provide applicable notices and choices. This policy does not describe planned advertising as already active.

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above. For questions about this policy, children's information, or a privacy request, email contact@praisepoint.app.
